Can someone assist me here, I'd really like to play some mods...

Ok so here's the thing, I have to use a USB loader because my disk drive won't read disks. I own a copy of Brawl that I bought on launch day, I just can't USE it because I get constant read errors.

So I got a USB drive, and put Brawl on it, after screwing around, I put it on 223, and the game runs just fine. The normal, vanilla game that is.

I want to play Brawl +, and Balanced Brawl, all that good stuff. There's so much exciting stuff going on with the hacking community here I want to partake.

Only, as some know, there are some troubles with the USB loader. Basically it boils down to this, when I activate the codes, the game won't boot. (Turn the codes back off, runs just fine).

I've done some reading and discovered that something was done on one of the updates that messed this all up, and if I somehow get an older version of ...something... things may work.

I just don't know what that thing is I need to downgrade, how to downgrade... and well, I've wasted about 2 days searching for the answers.

Look, even if I was a pirate, with all this frustration, I would just go buy the game and be done with it. But I OWN the game and I can't use it, it's frustrating to hold the game in my hand, hell even put it in my wii, and I can't play it.

Anyway, any help on the matter would be appreciated.

I'm using the newest USB loader, my codes work fine. I'm using the Snapshot loader code. PM me if you want it

Hmm, I've never heard of snapshot loader (I don't think?)

Anything that could help would be uh... helpful...

Uh, this problem isn't that common. No need for a whole thread.

Options are
Use Neogamma, turn Ocarina on and a Hook (anything but Default, try GC pad or Wii pad if you're on either).
Load USB Loader with Ocarina and a Hook (not sure what you need here)
Load with a Disc instead of USB, and use Neogamma the same way.
