Can Ryu's True Shoryu from the opposite direction he is facing?

I have been trying to make him do the true shoryu in the opposite direction but instead I get a tatsumaki. Can he only use up B input to do reverse shoryu?

Nope, you can do the true shoryuken by inputting shoryuken the way you are facing and then quickly pushing the opposite direction (essentially it's a b reverse) it'll take some time if you aren't used to b reverses
