Can R.O.B. Dashlink?

I read in the tactics forum that R.O.B. is able to unlock dashlinking w/ a forward throw (same as falco/snake).

has anyone tested this? I'll try it out when I get a chance, but that might not be for HOURS! >_<

oh, dashlinking is a term in limbo, and i'm sure as a technique name it won't stick.

After falco uses a forward throw, he's able to cancel his dash-attacks w/ upsmashes, removing recovery frames from the dashA. I've seen it done a bunch w/ falco and a few times w/ snake, anyone know if this works w/ R.O.B.?

I've dedicated a fair amount of time into trying this, but I haven't gotten it to work for me. If whoever said that he could do it could provide a video of some sort I'll accept that I wasn't doing it right, but for now I don't think he can do it. =/

I think your talking about Gatling Combos (formerly and stupidly known as DLX hit cancel) where you Upsmash directly from a Dash attack as falco or snake, etc.

As far as I know, R.O.B. can not do this.

well i think u can do it with ROB imo, cuz ive done it b4 - but i dont think its that useful since they have to be directly above him for the Usmash to connect. But i know ive done it before, maybe its different cuz i did it on the Japanese version, i havent really tried on the american one.
