yeah... I feel as if I'm lacking somehow. This video isn't that good of a demonstration, but it's the only match of me I could find....

Um ... good job?

Like, it's not possible to give you good advice based on a video where you're clearly much better than your opponents. Mostly I saw a few Friendly Fire incidents, which happen, and Zelda was doing it more than you. I also noticed a lack of team interaction, in that you mostly tended to split up the other team and work like it was two 1v1s. No target switches, no pincers, no walling one teammate while your partner edgeguards the other one (actually, that happened a lot because you guys were doing two 1v1s, but there was never a case of the opposing team trying to save each other, and you preventing this.) So, yeah. Better videos, please.

Your doubles play is fairly solid, you were putting in quite a bit of work by racking up damage and getting KOs. Although I did notice something in the first game that could be improved upon. You were waaaaaaaaay too grab happy on PS2, you missed like 55% of your grabs. Yes you can take more risks in teams and whatnot, but you can get punished twice as hard for missing too many grabs, your opponents weren't capitalizing correctly. I noticed you did so much better when you weren't going for all those grabs.
As for your partner, (don't know if you want to give him this advice) he needs to work on converting your hits to continue the attack strings. There were multiple times when you tossed the enemy his way while he was clear and he put up his shield instead of going on the offensive. It would definitely improve how much quicker you end opponents stocks in this case considering how much of a powerhouse PM Zelda is.

Heh yes, we kinda got thrashed in a later round and that's not available, so you'll have to deal with this.
