In the WiiWare and 3DS days Nintendo would sometime release smaller more experimental titles with new teams, usually released out of the blue. The spirit lives on with The Stretchers on Switch.
So what's this game about?
In The Stretchers you, either solo or with a buddy, play as a duo of Medics (who you can customise the skin color and gender of) who are out to battle a mysterious pandemic of "The Dizzies", with property damage and patient comfort being pushed down the priority list in favor of stopping Captain Brains and getting the job done quick (and clumsily).
How would they fight?
As I see it, they're about two things teamwork and hauling dead weght. This could be translated into Smash by giving them a stance system. One where the two are close together and one where they're holding the titular Stretcher. While close they would be quicker to react and a smaller target but be unable to use their better techniques.
Failing that, they could make for a fun Assist Trophy in future games/updates.
