Lol, could someone please critique my fox? I don't have much match experience (1 tournament)I get all nervous and do stupid crap. My tech skill is okay, but in matches I jump into everything, miss techs and rarely shffl. <_< Anyway please help, I need it.

I can't watch the videos; get the URLs for the vid. if you don't shffl, then shffl more. If you know you're jumping into a trap then you should change an approach or something. Your tech skill is not ok; you cannot shffl. If you don't shffl into shines, you're gonna get grabbed.

I know how to shffl into shine and I do it all the time outside of matches. Rarely shffl as in I forget about it during matches. I don't know why. My tech skill is fine though. Sorry about the videos something happened when I copy pasted them. I'm fixing that now.

SHFFLing with any character is a necessity in playing good people. I'll check the videos out now. (don't play fox but i'll give you some advice from my view)

okay, first off ; try not to stay near the ledge...especially in this matchup. One front smash and he doesn't even need to try to be able to get your stock.

I also only saw a few follow up shines after landing an aerial. Work on your tech game so you can shffl -> shine -> upsmash or w|e flows well. Once again being able to SHFFL will boost your game up a ton, especially for Fox.

Can't be arsed to go too indepth but just watch your videos and compare to other Foxs. You should be able to tell things like how to approach and just keep practicing those things. You'll get better in no time

(Good marth is good, always tech your rolls AWAY when you can.)

Yeah I know it is, but when I play I feel really pressured and just stop thinking about getting hits in and start thinking about getting away from the other player. I would really appreciate any post video help. Thanks.

you remind me of me when i was introduced to the marth match up. you don't give him pressure so the marth seems pryi chill throughout the match. don't be afraid to approach him. this match up is grab intense. UTHROW -> UAIR. try to grab moar. drill ->waveshine grab, drill -> grab, shine -> jcgrab, waveshine ->grab, or just jcgrab.

You need to make Marth miss. So I would throw in some Dash Dances wait for a mistake then go for a grab. I would also SHL and if he runs at u witha running or fair run at him and shield grab him or wave dash back. Nair Shine WD grab is a great combo at low percent and its easier to hit with. You can also shuffled nairs at mid percents. I also found if u D.I a little in back of marth it ****s up his chain grab. U need to shuffle all the time BTW.
