I used to be able to do everything with just the A button (dash to pivot to smash, fast fall aerials, etc), 'cause I didn't even know about the C-stick back then lol.. but after I figured it out, I use it for everything. Now I'm totally used to C-sticking everything, except N-air, but I need to get used to F-air with A again since it's a lot more accurate for me to get the knee with far knockback instead of the light knee.

I'll use C-stick for a knee only if I'm off the stage though. I'm also concidering changing my habit of F-air (when on the stage) and N-air to the Z button, not sure if that's a bad idea.

Most of the time, most of my attacks are C-stick based. It's not that it is better than A, I just got so use to it, to the point, I just know how to use it. That could be troublesome in SP however...

I use A for most everything because it is more comfortable. Plus it just seems faster to use it. I do use the c-stick for uairs sometimes, that way there is no posibility of messing up my jumps...

odd. on the falco forums, A is totally frowned upon.

Technically, there is no reason to use A. C-stick is better DI and great for uair/dair shffl. C-stick is also frame perfect, whereas A is slower in certain circumstances (rolls, throws, even smashes)

Also, I am surprised that so many utilize A even for knee. I think many of you will see an increase in knee connections upon getting EQUALLY comfortable with cstick as you are with A, because the DI is much better. especially dthrow or uthrow > knee combos
