C-falc's nair

i know the nair is great for starting combos, but is it the best thing to use for all characters? i was just wondering if there are certain characters that nair just isnt that useful for, because i usually cant pull em off too well against the space animals since they are fast fallers

the nair is great to approach fast fallers.
it either combos to a grab on low %, or makes them fall on higher % (watch out for missed techs).
this leads to tech chasing either way.

I can see what he's saying. Space animals are really short, too, so that makes it a little harder.
But as a general rule nair is a good approach no matter what.

yea and if they stay on the ground, you gotta come from slightly above them, which results in upkicks out the ***, which is another thing i struggle with

unless you're fighting Marth. Then it suddenly becomes a really bad idea.

nair is a great tactic against fast fallers.I remember a combo that Darkrain did against Husband's marth where he combo'd him with 3 nairs and a fair.

yea but its more a combo than an approach. the marth has to be really caught offguard/stunned to be hit by a nair, otherwise some sort of strange ftilt/utilt/fsmash/reverse dolphin slash barrier

Approaching Marth with NAirs is a no-no. Comboing Marth with NAirs is a yes-yes.

I love Falcons Nair
just dont approch with it stupidly

the only thing that is hard about it is cutting through projectils like Samu's missles
and Docs pills

You can go head on with a Marth ftilt or smash, just mindgame them,

I like Nair for most approaches. But the key with falcon is to mix it up and predict your opponent. I abuse nair approaches until i get punished, because its pretty safe if you miss. Once they start catching on and try and jump over my sh nairs I full jump dair and begin a tech chase.

I use nair alot more on floaties than on other characters.
