BuckeyeLAN's largest event of the semester is on April 9th! We'll be in the Cartoon Room of the Ohio Union for games, tournaments, and prizes! Entry fee will be $10 and includes pizza, soda, and tournament entries (excluding buy-ins).

Pre-register here and pay only $8 at the event:

Tournament Games include:

Street Fighter V
Halo - 1v1
CoD BO3 - 2v2
Starcraft II
Rocket League - 2v2

1. Is this only for students attending Ohio State?
2. Is there an age minimum?
3. What is the ruleset for Smash Wii U?

Hey, will there be any Melee events?
Smash 4 only

1. Nope, it's open to everyone.
2. There isn't any age restriction though the event will be attended mostly by people 18+ and there will be M rated games available so parental discretion/supervision is advised.
3. We'll be going off of the current standard for tournament play.

Thanks so much I may be attending if my schedule allows

Count me in. :)

One question, though. (And it's completely unrelated to Smash ^-^")

What are the entry requirements for SFV?

No entry requirements and you're allowed to compete in multiple events with the exception of CSGO and LoL. Other games slightly overlap but you're able to compete as long as you're not significantly holding up another.

Good news! We've dropped the $5 buy-in for SFV (still applies for Sm4sh) and changed the rules for involvement in multiple events. Please see my revised post from earlier.

I pre-registered, but won't be able to make it until 1:30. I only plan on playing the smash tournament that starts 2. Will that be ok if I sign in and pay at 1:30?

That would be fine. You don't have to be there the whole day to participate, just have to be in attendance to sign in/up.
