Bubsy for Brawl!

I was flipping through my old SNES games just yesterday and saw my Bubsy game cartridge. A good game that was, collecting all those yarn balls . Anyway I think Bubsy would make a great character addition. Most of you probably do not know who Bubsy is considering he is "old" for you young ones. Bubsy is a bobcat who was expected to compete with Sonic and Mario. This prediction was wrong as Bubsy got over shadowed by these two characters. But now is his time to shine!

When you play Bubsy in the game he has two abilities; to jump and glide. Now how can you get a character out of that you say? Well first off a projectile he could use is a yarn ball. Through out the game you collect yarn balls and this is most certainly one of Bubsys well known features. In the second game you can have something called a "nerf gun" and you can purchase pies to throw at people. In the third and last installment of the game Bubsy collects atoms and that might be in his moveset. Still thats only 4 moves, what about all the rest? Well look at Mario, he could only jump when SSB64 was released. The creators will have a chance to create a good moveset for a character that has never got that chance.

He could spin and use the cape in Super Mario World, and
he had his punch-punch-kick combo from Super Mario 64.

Nah, Bubsy was actually a pretty ambitious series and probably had good games... not like I ever played any, but I know a great fan of it.
I bet he would've become more popular if he didn't have such a goofy name. o_o;

But, alas, he's third party, and third party characters would have to be reeeeaaaally worth the price Nintendo needs to buy them for.

Whats wrong with the name Bubsy? Its ever so cool. I must admit though it doesnt have that kind of ring to it as other characters such as Sonic does.

I liked Bubsy, but he is not SSB material, plus his franchise is dead. It is sad but he just could not be brought from the 2d world.

Oh man, was Bubsby a good series. Until the PSX released Bubsy 3D. That's why the series is dead.

Well thats good in a way. The company of Bubsy might ask Nintendo to put him in, so he can regain popularity again.
