Nothing against Walmart employees, but they're typically pretty clueless. I had a nightmare trying to get a copy of Fire Emblem: Awakening on release date even though the game was already out.

To be fair, Fire Emblem: Awakening's release date fiasco was absolutely awful, with stores getting very few copies and several stores getting them days late. My Gamestop didn't even get them in until three days later and they only got 6 copies despite having had 12 preorders (I got the last one).

Still, it was annoying trying to get Mario Kart 8 on release date from Walmart. They hadn't stocked it and the employee told me that they didn't have any if it wasn't stocked. Luckily for me, some older lady working there came up and (grouchily) told me that she'd check the back just in case, even though she hadn't seen it there. Five minutes later, she came back with a box of Mario Karts. It was thankfully only a ten minute ordeal, but I'd much rather go through someone who knows what they're selling like Gamestop (Best Buy has screwed me over a few times too by the way).
