OK so I decided to pick up this character and I was wondering what is the core fundamentals of this character.
Things i should know or look out for?
Strengths and weaknesses?
Bread and butter tech skill?
Good and bad match ups?
How to play the natural?
Uncommon knowledge?
Advantages stages?
Basically how should they be played as base level. Don't be afraid to state the obvious because that might be exactly what i need. All advice is welcome!

Asking this question can lead to a lot of different results, everyone has a different way of playing Roy because he has so many options, not good ones but yah know. Personally, I like to dash-dance to bait out the opponent to throw out a move where I then punish with a wave dash into d-tilt. then F-air, to throw off their tech into another d-tilt then either f-air or n-air. Also it's a good idea to memorize what each characters animations look like when they get-up from a ledge. It'll let you punish them a lot easier. and to quote Sethlon
