apparently the excuse is PAL conversions.
Yet I don't get how as aussies we only have to wait a fortnight for Super Mario galaxy yet we have to wait possibly 3 months for Smash Bros.
As long as it's not 6 months hopefully. *Super Paper Mario* Where are you?
As aussies we usually get our games a week or two after europe. Though I really don't know why? We have the exact same language as america... English. Most of us don't speak french, spanish, or german so we really don't need any of that extra work. If anything we just need Japanese and Chinese translation and then we're fine. We should have our own code. Also nearly everyone who comes to our our country or has been living our country for quite a while knows english quite well. And most of our TV's available are NTSC/PAL compatible.
The whole region lock Nintendo has is stupid. Nintendo has managed to sell over 150, 000 Wii consoles in Australia and we're still getting screwed.
i'm expecting February, i'm really hoping for Christmas though.... or January.
Honestly why can't they do PAL and NTSC at the exact same time?
In the end i'm not too fussed about it though. Gives me more time for Super Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption and hopefully Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn (if the release is this year.). If not hopefully WWE Smackdown vs Raw for Wii stays true to it's European release date.
Smash Bros, Mario Kart and Fire Emblem could take over any other Wii game so I really need to play the others and finish them before I get sidetracked.
