Brawl vs Melee - metagame

While it may seem true that Melee requires more techskill than Brawl to be proficient at, I also find that Brawl's metagame seems to rely more on creativity. Whenever I watch my favorite Brawl players, I'm always amazed by the creativeness they show in their gameplay, whereas with Melee, I'm not as entertained by the matches because it seems to be more about proper spacing and perfected techskill rather than creative gameplay. Thoughts?
