Mario Universe Brawl Stage Builder : Mario Maker :: U Stage Builder : Mario Maker 2?

After seeing the so-awesome Stage Builder for SSBU, I've been thinking that maybe the next Mario Maker could have a similar improvement.

By all accounts, the (EDIT:build shown off at conventions) seems to be very limited, and I don't think it will change that much from its current incarnation.

So does this mean I should hold of on getting Mario Maker and wait for its even better sequel?

We haven't even gotten the game. Like Smash 4 Wii U, we should wait for Mario Maker to hit the Wii U and test it before making any judgments on it.

I was surprised that the Nintendo Direct didn't mention Mario Maker at all. I was hoping they would make it clear just how big a game it was going to be (as opposed to the limited demo we saw last time).
