Umm Well this could be real! Zero Suit Samus is not the same charater as Samus dude, they just transform into eachother. . . and Ancient Minister would be a WTF charater.

And the lack of King K. Rool is = fail

An original character created for the Smash series makes sense by now (considering Master and Crazy Hand couldn't be PCs) and having a villain as an unlockable is common for fighting games. Sure the AM doesn't look like the fighting type but DeDeDe doesn't look that part to a great degree either.

Also, Zamus could very well get her own character slot even though I find that to be a 50/50 situation.

Whoa, whoa, whoa... Don't you think the inclusion of twenty starters is enough to void the validity of this list? If anything we're going to have an all time LOW on starters due to the focus on single player Nintendo has put into Brawl. You'll probably be unlocking a character after every cut-scene.

EDIT: And though I don't think that the third party slot is 100% determined to be limited to three, many people do. And in this list we have four third party characters.

First of all - GB et al. were not PCs because they were overpowered, and we do not know if the AM in his ordinary appearance is overpowered. The only reason GB is included this time is because he is an FS now...

Also, by your "logic" a roster leaked before Melee's release that didn't include Diddy or K. Rool would also be "fail".

So yeah, take a few breaths next time.

I think that twenty newcomers would be enough to "fill out" SSE in the manner you describe.

The argument I can buy, however, is the one about the amount of third-party characters that are supposed to be included.

Why is Ike a secret character? I would kinda understand Dedede being secret in the roster (even though I think he'll be a starter but I won't start an argument about that) but why Ike?

EDIT: Now why the hell would Zero Suit Samus be a secret character? I don't get it at all.

Get K. Rool in there and I'll be happy. If Kirby's series can get a villain, Mother series possibly getting a villain, F-Zero series possibly getting a villain, Metroid's series getting a villain, what makes DK's so different?

Isaac, Geno, and Megaman however; you get my stamp of approval.
