Brawl Power Attacks

I searched and was suprised to find no topics on this.
From the teaser videos I've seen some powerful attacks where the character glows red or the background does.
Links for example gets the victem caugth between two triforces and link slashes them to death.
cool no?

NO!

Smash bros is not about powerful 1 hit kills or crap like that
its about juggling, edgegaurding, mindgames, and SKILL.

I hope i am wrong because if im not then nintendo just ruined smash
And we finally had Nobuo!

I think that's just a flashy item. So it can be turned off. Because is it is not then players would only go for it the whole time.

Melee is the perfectsmbros xcep its not online
it could only be better with more stages characters and online ability

im not dissing it but every game has its problems
and you have no idea if its a great game yet

He's not dissing an ''excellent'' game because at this point the game is an unkown substance. It could be good, it might be an insult to the greatest game ever made.

He's critisizing something really valid : Those giant flashy attacks.

They're dumb. Nintendo isn't stupid enough to make that kind of thing an actual attack and if you'll pay attention in the trailer, you'll see mario grab an item with the SSB Insignia on it, which causes him to do the attack.

I don't care. I'm turning off items in VS mode as SOON as I buy this game. And I'm gonna wait until someone else finishes single player to copy their unlocked chars / stages. I am NOT playing nub smash. Forget about that. Forget single player smash, and forget items.

but I might spend a week f***ing around to unlock characters on my own
after that its multi
single sucks
I spent my first year on melee doing singles...what a waste of time.
Then i realized that i sucked(past tense) so i did versus and now im half decent(mid comptetive ranking)(i think)
