GG homeboy haha I think I'm staying offline until my GC controller is purchased this week though, You earned those wins, but some things I end up doing make me scratch my head (claw grab the opposite way off stage no where near you <3) lmao Nice DK though, that one spike kill you had on me got me fairly hype haha

hahahah After I took your second stock I was like "Mu'****a is messin with me" hahaha Any opinions on my Link play?

EDIT: OTHER THAN MY PITIFUL RECOVERY lmao
I don't know if I'm the best person to ask for advice on Brawl Link... but I would say be more reserved on your smashes, use zair more and nair, and learn how to DACUS if you haven't already, it can come in pretty handy.

I have such a hard time with DACUS on the wiimote tbh. Buffering smashes is just so weird because its all on the one thumbstick. But general tips are fine, metagame comes a bit later when it runs deep haha I need to get his recover game down cause I feel like I played pretty decent with him in terms of at least not getting four stocked haha

Wait... Are you playing with the wii remote by itself or do you have a numchuck? Because wii remote + numchuck can DACUS. Wii remote alone can't.

Nunchuck as well, still can't seem to DACUS. Apparently from what I've heard is Snake is the only one you should DACUS with on Wiimote/Nunchuck.

Yeah snake is easiest. Or sonic.
Link is easy too but the bomb sliding can get really difficult even for gamecube users. Shiek's dacus which is the hardest dacus to do imo is the same input as Link's upward bombslide.

I've just started in with Link as of like, last night so hopefully when the gamecube controller is in my possession I can mess around a bit and get Link's down to help out my game. I'm gonna spend like 2 hours tonight just messing with recovery though haha

hahaha Anyone who plays a better Link than me can help. I'll take any general tips on Metagame
Link has horrible matchups with everyone except ganon, a terrible recovery as you are figuring out now, a slow grab, and overall clunkiness to moves.
However if you can get past those faults, he has the best projectile game out of everyone imo. Great zoning tools with Boomerang and Hookshot. Bomb outprioritizes all other projectiles. Mindgames, bombsliding, tech skill mixups. Honestly I feel the most creative when playing Link because he has the most options out of any character I play. When it's not laggy that is, then I usually just down air a lot and pray...

Great I chose a terrible matchup machine hahahaha Thanks. The Boomerang has been a great tool so far, still getting used to hookshot. I think mindgames will be my biggest asset tbh, especially in tournys once I start getting my DACUS and such going. Thanks!
