Well, it started as me trying him out, then I learned to do a bunch of stuff (like SHTL; took forever) with him...and I decided to main him. I do prefer characters with big, disjointed hitboxes that don't require much tech skill (not that Brawl Fox requires much). I think it suits my playstyle better.

Guys, I might actually do it. PREPARE YOURSELF.

Lucario is much better online than Fox is, though you can still do well with Fox. It'd just take more effort.

But it's up to you, of course. I main arguably the worst character on Wi-Fi because he's just fun to use.

Well you see...I've never played a local match against a competent opponent before. So I don't know if I suck, or if the WiFi messes with my fighting.

Before you ask, no one at my small school played Smash. In fact, if you even mention Nintendo all the "hardcore gamers" snap at you and say how much they suck. All they play is CoD.

Lucario isn't completely new to me;I used to main him when I first got back into Smash with a competitive attitude.

Edit: So my phone decided to not quote @ Xadrin Xadrin . Thanks phone.

I thought characters with long range and disjointed hitboxes did well on WiFi...different opinions I guess.

For Marth you need to be on point for spacing and getting "tips." That's probably just at a higher level though.

Besides, there are more capable people than me. I'm just mostly speculation, haven't played too many people + not that good once you get to the somewhat capable of doing well in tournaments spot.

Mastering every character I haven't done but I can do somewhat decent with each character is what I tell myself.

I've never played anyone even close to decent offline. The best people I've played don't even know how to recover. Anyway, it's all up to you if you want to use Lucario instead of Fox, of course.

Disjointed hitboxes... no tech skill...
Try Ike. Jab to a good percent and then kill with any smash. That sounds like your playstyle.
Although I force tech skill down my ike's throat but that's just me...

I also like a bit of speed too...and this will sound silly to you but I like using characters I like or know over more functional ones. Yes, it's scrubby.
