That it did. I was actually working 3-11, not 3-12 thank goodness, but it didn't matter either way.
I first heard from one of my other cashiers, who one of our managers had spoken to about possibly closing down the store due to no working water.
Two hours later.. I come back from my break, and as soon as I replace another cashier on her register, an announcement is made over the PA system for all associates to report back to site-to-store (obviously except for cashiers on the register, bummer for me).
Not 20 minutes later.. an announcement is made to all customers that the building is closing down, and to bring all final purchases up to the register asap. I all but screamed for joy.

I swear it felt just like back in high school when you'd get those surprise two-hour early dismissals eehehe.
