Brawl Euro Release Date (From NoE Rep)

I work in game and today a rep from nintendo came in and told me that brawl shouldnt be expected for british release until march LATEST. More likely to be later. Bummer eh?

not really, in fact this, if it's true, is the best news, there's still a possibility for Feb, but at the latest we'll only have to wait a month, better than it previously not even being on the Q2 release list.

fair enough its hard to believe. game have a rep visit from each company they stock once a month and today it was the nintendo rep. i just hope they manage it cus you know how much its been put back already...

It doesnt wor klike that if you work at game. You dont get given stuff by "reps" and such. They tend to only interact with higher-ups unless its for a promotion

He's considered to be one of the best in the UK and I've played him and 2 tournaments before. If they can get Super Mario galaxy out worldwide in a month. Then it should be the same for the most anticipated game of 2008, actually not just just 2008, but in the Wii's lifetime.

There is no other game I reckon on the Wii that I could be looking more forward to.
There will be titles i'll still look forward but none will match my 3 year anticipating run of Smash Bros. Brawl.

Anyway back to the point...

Does anyone else think the reason for the delay was so they could start making PAL copies. And didn't Sakurai say in a certain update that this game was being made for all version with 6+1 languages so really all that needs to be done is a simple conversion.

I see Easter as the best time to release this game in PAL regions though.

It's the holidays, and what better way then to spend two weeks of playing nothing but Smash Bros. But i also want Easter, because this is the time i'm taking a break from work.

Why do people think it will be longer. This is not Fire Emblem last time I checked. This is one of the big 3.... and without fail with the other two there was hardly any gaps in between. Well maybe with Metroid Prime. But it worked perfectly in November for Australia.

Don't forget this game is Worldwide Wi-fi. Now what is the point of that if PAL regions don't get it until 6 months later. They can't claim it as worldwide yet then, and believe they would want to claim this before the half year, or else Nintendo would look really bad... to my knowledge this is the first worldwide Wi-fi game for the wii. There is also Mario Kart to my knowledge.

It was confirmed ages ago that it will not be out in Q1, and most likely not Q2 either
