I signed it but this won't do anything. Nintendo already knows how popular the game is and how badly we all want a demo. They held a couple of polls asking if we would be interested in demos in the future. With this Brawl delay, there is a chance they may release a demo to make it up to us.

ok, signed it, it was quick and simple. now that brawl is delayed i think the next best thing and the only thing to calm me down is to have the playable demo...peace

EDIT: hypnotist your right but it only takes like 30 seconds to sign and it doesnt hurt. we really want a demo outside of e for all so might as well...

There's a demo at E for All.

Everybody shut up about it and read beyond the first paragraph of today's update.
So what about the very large number of smash enthusiasts who DON'T live in or near LA? "Wii would like to play" too ya know?

My prediction on the matter is that they will release a demo to the public on December 3rd, to make up for the fact that the actual game will not be released then. It will proably be like 500 wii points or something like that. It seems to fit, because 1, the fans get something for their troubles, 2, the "official announcement" for the release date on December 3rd will not be completely untrue, and 3, if they do charge they get a nice profit out of it too.

But this is all speculation, and for all I know none of it will happen.

You do realize he's talking about a demo you can play at home, right? One that's given/sold to the masses, rather than just being on a few consoles at E for All.

I signed the petition. Don't think it'll do anything, but it can't hurt.

I signed it as well, but I'm not expecting anything to happen. Can't hurt right?

A thousand signatures isn't really that much though. I mean, if those 1000 people were willing to pay $10 each for a demo, sure, it's $10,000 but that's the only equivalent of 40 Nintendo Wiis. If I did my math correctly...

Of course there will be countless people who don't sign it, etc...
