Brawl custom music changing between songs?

Not sure if everyone has this problem.

When I use my custom music, I notice that on some stages the song will change to another song that is currently on (as in the bar is not completely to the left on song choice), and loop with that song cutting in.

It happens on YI, song "obstacle course", and the first song on Final Destination.
On YI, the song switch occurs when the seasons change, so the song does not actually loop, it just gets cut out by another song.
On FD, I'm not really sure when it changes, but the song does not reach the point where it loops either, and is cut out by the other song.

Couldn't find any info when I searched up custom music switching songs, so I was wondering if anyone could help me here.

It's a thing that happens with SD cards.
Just defragment it on your computer and the sound should be fine!

I read somewhere that defragging an SD card reduces its lifetime, and is unnecessary as an action, so I reformatted the SD and put the files back on.
Haven't tested if this worked though, but thanks for the advice :)

Reformatting works too, if you don't mind the extra steps.
I shoulda said that in the FIRST place, but... eh.
