Will this game have a completely different friend code?

I hate how all DS games have different friend codes!

i think the lag will be significantly less when playing someone closer to your home

online tournaments would kick ***! that is if everyone has fast source of internet....

headsets would be nice but unlikely

Yes the game will have its own set of codes. That is the way of nintendo's games now. Your wii code is for messaging each other and sending miis and any other data to friends.

Your individual friend codes (in this case Brawl) work seperately for each game and allow you to find your friends in that game. It is my understanding that each Mii gets a seperate Friend code so that more than one person can use a specific mii and copy of Brawl with seperate friends.

i happen to love the thought of being able to play not knowing who i'm playing... and not having a headset means i won't have to listen to some prepubescent **** cursing me over the internet.... go nintendo

I am kinda both ways on that thought, because i would like to not know whom i am fighting but then again i would so i could know the name if its a really good person or bad.

I don't really see how there will be less quitters in Brawl. Since their rank won't go down from quitting, they can quit whenever they are losing and not be penalized. In most ranked games, their rank would decrease if they quit.

I think lag is really inevitable without a wired connection
But if SSBB's online for some reason gets transformed into anything close to Metroid Prime Hunters, ill be happy(mainly the rivals feature :)
P.S, Brawl isnt the first online SSB game. SSB has been online for quite a while now, not just officialy. And even though its on the comp, its still pretty hard to get a no-lag match, especially with 4 people. But when you do geta match running at 60 FPS, its quite beautiful

I can't believe anyone could actually complain about entering the Friend Codes! That's not even an issue unless you're mad lazy.
