I recently bought this on XBLA. Its a puzzle/platformer and does that extremely well. At first I thought it was merely a homage to Super Mario Bros., but eventually realized it was so much more. By the end level I'm using Einsteins theories of Time Dilation in order to collect pieces of the periodic table of elements in order to unlock a princess made of pure energy. (lol atombomb) The plot is great and the puzzles are top-notch, even more complex than some of Portal's "advanced" levels.:dizzy:

I really enjoyed the demo, especially the level that was called Jumpman and had the classic Mario layout. The art style was absolutely beautiful, vibrant colors all over the place. But the price. $15 for a 5 hour single player only game. Pass. I saved my money for Castle Crashers, which is absolutely awesome. It's got a single player that lasts longer than five hours, and has four player co-op, locally and online. That's $15 well spent. If Braid were $10, I'd be there.

I'm in the same boat as Cashed. I think the game is amazing, and I feel like I'm doing it an injustice by not supporting one of the better XBLA games to come out on marketplace so far. At the same time, I also can't support the idea of a 15 dollar price point for a game like that, or soon we'll see all innovative games making the jump.

I just heard it this game the first time when my brother came down this week for vacation. It's pretty sweet, and even better he's ranked #5 in the game for overall speedruns and we recorded his best times for each stage, so if anyone is interested in either seeing what the game looks like, or on how to solve / improve on certain areas, check em out:

I bought that game the day it was released, and i love it so much.

I remember being up alone at 3 in the morning on a school night, and i would be stuck for so long, on one peice, but once i figured it out, and realized the brilliance in the placement of the puzzle peice, a smile swept across my face, and i went to bed the happiest person alive, i swear.
