From one country to another i could say the same, though try to choose your words better, one could see that as an insult

Morning mates
He's just jealous because weirder is better :p

But jokes aside, Canada and USA aren't that different.

Sure, our winters are unbearable for a tourist, our gun control laws gives us a crime rate 99% smaller than the US, the obesity rate is smaller and we have 5 times less states (which are called provinces and territories), but everything else is more or less the same.

If any place in Canada could be considered "weird" it'd be Quebec because French

You know, I've always been confused with the whole "gun control" problem. I mean, I highly doubt things would change even if we banned them.

Say what you want, but there's more ways to kill than just firearms. They're simply an easier solution. If someone is desperate enough to provoke violence, they'll use anything. Whether it'd be guns, or their bare hands. Okay, so guns are gone, well whoop-dee-doo we'll just replace it with knives or bombs, maybe fire.

And hell, I could also argue that the people we'd be targeting with the laws (namely the criminals) will simply find other ways of obtaining guns. It won't kill the use of guns, it'll just cause a detour to the solution.

I don't know, maybe it's just me being American, but that's just how I've always felt about the problem.

I actually agree.

Who would agree with shutting down a law that's been around for 300 years? The right to bear arms has been around since the US became a country.

The original purpose of the Right to bear Arms was meant for the times when it was needed during the American Revolution. It doesn't need to be removed it just needs to be adjusted to fit today not during the founding of America. There are other things that need to be adjusted that are sill in place from the cold war that need to be updated as well.

Canada's not perfect either...but I never really cared enough to take a look at what was wrong (besides Bieber and Harper)

I never said it was the worst that the US did; this was just an example of a thing worse than Bieber.

Oh what? The Family Guy of music? Nonsense! At worse she's immature (which I could easily label on numerous teen idols including Beiber), at best she's painfully generic.
