I can't believe I forgot to mention this, but there is indeed one big problem I found with GF, but I forgot to mention it in my review....

After Bill is defeated and placed into dormancy for seemingly an eternity, how the heck does Stan gain his memories back so quickly? It made the defeat seem more underwhelming, and the ending a little less powerful. If they went about it differently by having literally no possible way of regaining the memories, or heck, even making it MUCH harder to regain Stan's memories, I think I would've liked the finale a little more because it would've felt more powerful. With that being said, I found an interesting theory on this subject...

So, if in some way this theory is actually true, I wouldn't mind having a short or a mini-series with the return of Bill, with Stan and Ford having to defeat him once again.

So...any thoughts? And also, what's your major character ranking of GF?

Edit: Due to remembering that problem I had, the score of 9.8 is now lowered to 9.3
That's a really interesting theory. The plausibility of it? I dunno. The part that goes into Alex putting the two together to "save" each other, I'm not so sure about that. The rest of the theory however is actually pretty neat. Knowing Alex, he could've easily thought about all these things while writing and leading up to the finale and wait to see if the fans could piece something together yet again. And he did say the story itself wasn't quite over, as was mentioned in the video. It could be a rather dark ending to the show in the long run though, but it's hard to tell with Alex sometimes. He may have wanted the show to have a more positive ending, even if the "dark return" part of it would only be discovered much later. However, given Bill's chant, I'm certain that he intended to say that Bill was either not destroyed or will be resurrected at some point.

What I personally still think is that he wanted to entertain the idea that Bill could have entered the real world, aka our world. The wording of Bill's chant ("I invoke the ancient power that I may return") implies that it isn't meant to save his life right on the spot, but rather make it so that he could return after death. This makes it likely to be a resurrection spell of some kind. Seeing as how is physical body was never destroyed, instead merely Taken for Granite, he could retake that very same body once again if he was resurrected.

Then that all leads down to the final shot the show offers us outside of the puzzle cipher. The shot shows a Bill statue in the real world, taking on the same pose his physical remains had in the show. Consider the idea of Bill's chant being a resurrection spell, and the fact that the final shot takes place in the real world rather than being a shot from the show itself, or even just a special drawing of him created just for the scene. It's an actual statue placed in an actual location. It's obviously not meant to be something serious, but it could've very well been Alex entertaining the idea that Bill was, or is going to be, reborn outside of the universe of Gravity Falls.

Theorizing aside (And I don't think I went as nearly in-depth or in-detail on this as I could have lol) one thing about all of this that I find really neat is how a lot of fans are currently trying to find that statue in real life. Most people suspect that, if it wasn't removed immediately after filming of the shot was complete, it's somewhere in Oregon. It would be the most logical location by far since Gravity Falls takes place there. One more thing that I felt was notable is the title of the second half of the finale is "Somewhere in the Woods" further supporting the idea that the statue was at least left in a forest somewhere out there.

Now that I've said all that, I don't really have anything to add onto how Stan got his memories back that quickly. Not right now, at least. I'll share my character rankings in a little bit, I'll reserve that for it's own post.

Apparently a bunch of people have been getting the "Only the Best is Good Enough" trophy. I have no clue why, though.

I was surprised that Red, the strongest Trainer in all of Kanto, had a Pikachu with him. I guess it's kind of a "loyal companion" kind of thing. This Pikachu was holding a Light Ball, making it surprisingly powerful. I had Mandala out against him. Pikachu couldn't do a thing to Mandala, and it went down in a flash.

Later, Snorlax was sent out. Mandala was called upon once more, where it set up a couple of Curses to beef its physical bulk up and make it hit stronger. It was also PP stalling the one move Snorlax could use effectively; Blizzard. Mandala had just enough special bulk to take each Blizzard without critical hits to worry about. Snorlax was switched out in favor of Charizard, but upon being sent back out, Mandala finished the job.

For Blastoise, A-10 was sent out at first, but not only was Blastoise faster than A-10, he also hit hard with Blizzard, which can 2-hit-KO A-10. So I switched A-10 out for Kraken, my special sponge. Kraken was taught Giga Drain to help chip Blastoise's health down, and thankfully, not a single move Blastoise had can hit Kraken for neutral damage, so Kraken finished the job fairly easily.

Smokey was unleashed for both Lapras and Charizard. His Thick Fat ability rendered Lapras's Blizzard fairly weak and Charizard's Fire-type attacks heavily impaired. He almost died against these two brutes, but his fatness pulled through and he drove the two down to the ground. Charizard was made easier to take out due to the fact that it kept using Flare Blitz on Smokey, and he was additionally what he switched in to as a substitute for his Snorlax.

The final Pokémon he had was Venusaur, which I especially saved Hellraiser for. Hellraiser finished the battle with a bang, blasting Venusaur with a furious Eruption and winning the battle for me.

Due to the amount of Pokémon with Blizzard on his team, Smaug sadly had to sit out for the battle, but he was rooting for us along the sidelines.

Once he was beaten, Red was left speechless. He handed me my prize money and walked off, his hat dropping on the snowy floor of the summit, vanishing into the blizzard of the summit... Exhausted and beaten, I flew back home to New Bark Town and took a long deserved rest, happy to have finally accomplished my goal of becoming a Pokémon Master.

...The Nuzlocke has finally come to an end. Thank you all so much for keeping up with this journey I took up to its very end. This Nuzlocke was very fun for me, as well, especially since it was set in my favorite Pokémon game! I was heavily prepared for everything I had to face as best as I could, and I pulled through, even after the utter massacre that was Saffron City's Gym.

This also holds the honor of being the very first Nuzlocke run I completed! I attempted one in Emerald, but I stopped it after a while. I was happy to get back into this with HeartGold and complete it, even going over side locations that were completely optional for me to travel... Anyway, enough rambling. Once again, thank you all for sticking with this journey, and I hope to do another Nuzlocke run in the future to come, if I feel up for it.
Geez, you practically steamrolled his team!

Congrats on a successful nuzlocke!

... Blastoise was faster than Electivire? Was Blastoise at a higher level or did electivire have minimal speed? Either way Electivire should have been faster than Blastoise..

I also got the trophy. Yay, more points that don't really mean anything but they're a great way to measure my ego.
