Now I don't think this clears Glenn and Daryl, but it's something that could be added to the evidence heap in that Glenn and Daryl are safer than Michonne or Abraham. I still think that either of them could still be killed off, though. I mean, the two characters/actors could've just been back for a flashback/backstory scene, rather than normal episode time.

I thought of that drawback myself while I was posting. However, I can't stop thinking about it. I ALWAYS think about everything I become involved with in-depth, whether it's important, real life stuff, or fun stuff (like theory crafting about who Negan killed). This cliffhanger has been an outlet to analyze one of my favorite shows, and I love it. Having the chance to get my mind going is always welcome in my life.

Anyway, I do agree with you that someone big has to die, or else this cliffhanger wouldn't have happened.
