I've actually uh....only seen two episodes. It's yet another show that's been stuck on my backlog for a while.

Going from the first episode though, I really like.Lord Death. Spirit Albarn is also hilarious. Don't really have a least favorite yet.

Maka's dad is pretty hilarious

For me I'm up to 17. I would watch more but I've been busy with real life stuff and a rewatch of FMA03. I know a lot of people like Death the Kid, and he's up there for me. However, he's probably only 2nd best because I haven't gotten to see a lot of character development or backstory from him yet. My personal #1 is Tsubaki.

Last? Well, out of the core 7, it's surprisingly not Blackstar (because he actually starts becoming likable by episode 11), and Excalibur isn't part of the main cast, so I'm not gonna include him in the pool... my least favorite is actually Maka. She's a mary sue and I honestly find her pretty boring. This becomes more problematic when I'm reminded that she's the main character. I like having fun main protagonists, and Maka doesn't fit the bill (I also don't like tsunderes in general).

I liked her at first as well. However, once I watched the exam episode, that's really when my opinion of her went downhill. It gradually got worse over time, but the exam episode really hurt my opinion of Maka because it showcased how boring and mary-sue-ish she can be.

Her only saving grace is that Soul Evans actually gives her some personality. The reason why I dislike her rather than hate her is because Soul is her saving grace.
