It was removed sometime in 2014. It was causing some bugs in the XenForo software, if I recall right.

You're quite welcome!

It was a pretty basic system. Basically one user could add someone else as a Friend, and they'd have to wait for that user to confirm them as a Friend. Upon confirmation, both users would automatically follow each other, along with appearing under each other's friends lists.
