Why the flying frick would I get cocky? I already stated that I could definitely see my team falling back to 2nd. I may be happy that the Sox are 1st, but I'm far from getting cocky and overly optimistic over my team. And no, we're 0.5 games ahead, not one, so if anyone's overrating the Sox, it's you.

Know this: I am NOT a person who assumes my team is ready for the world series win just because we've been in first for 24 hours.

Sorry if I sounded aggressive, but I needed to make it clear that I am far from overconfident in my team. I hate it when I run into people that accuse me of being overconfident in my team, when I'm only simply happy that my team is performing strongly at the moment. I run into guys like that all the time at college, and it's awful because I don't attack them for praising their team (and these people I know in real life praise their own teams A LOT more than myself). Why attack me when I'm not doing anything wrong?

Bad history is bad, and whenever I fall into a similar situation, or I start to feel that a familiar situation arises, I become tense.

Jerold Dyson said that he didn't think they were going to go back to Baltimore and I wanted the O's to at least get them back to Baltimore just so it would bite him in the ass..
