I'd really like to improve my skills, as well as my knowledge of Smash's mechanics in general. I'm honestly sorely lacking in both of those departments.

I'm also **** when it comes to combos, so hopefully I'll be able to pull some off after some more reading and practicing.

Trust me when I say "King Dedede" and "Combo Game" don't mix very well. Honestly, reading's probably one of your best bets when it comes to Dedede. Not that it should be your main line of attack, but I'm a very offensive Dedede main who prefers to shoot Gordos and ask questions later. I dunno, I'm not good at explaining strategy when it comes to smash.

Combos aren't something I hear being associated with Dedede very often, so this doesn't surprise me that much.

Reading is how I typically play most of my characters, actually. Combos just aren't really my thing, but with some research and a hell lot more practice I think I could get the hang of them.
