Hmm. . . could just be that the computer is getting old, after a year or so the equipment has to work harder even if it was for the same amount of effort causing an increase of temperature just from getting a bit old.171
Well, it was already cleaned recently. We had someone take a look at it because, well, we think the fans shouldn't be working as hard as they do. Clean it out once, it works and sounds fine. Hardly two weeks later and it's already grinding like Hell again. Be it from a game, watching a video, I could just be visiting this very site for a few seconds, and suddenly, my PC starts heating up heavily again and my fans start working a lot harder. I'm no computer expert so maybe I'm just dead-wrong about the whole situation, but I don't believe it should take such a short amount of time in between being cleaned out before it starts working so incredibly hard again, especially when I'm only using it for super simple things.
He couldn't find anything in particular wrong with it this time, but he recommend we look into getting a free app to measure the temperature of my PC for the future, when it does start working harder again. Also, he recommend getting Liquid Cooling. I heard about that system a few months ago. It is most definitely something I'm looking into getting.
Well, it was first constructed in late 2013 (it was a Christmas gif for that year since the one I used to have at the time was ridiculously old and performed very poorly.) so if that's the case, I wouldn't be surprised, it's been a good few years since it was built. Strong as it is, I have it turned on for many hours almost every day, so my heavy usage of it might've helped contribute to wearing some pieces of it out, too.Hmm. . . could just be that the computer is getting old, after a year or so the equipment has to work harder even if it was for the same amount of effort causing an increase of temperature just from getting a bit old.
For now, that's what I'll be doing. I will be keeping on eye on everything else just in case it happens to be something really serious (I try to backup my most important data on at least a monthly basis) but currently, the fans are my main concern.Either way, if there really is nothing wrong but raise of temperatures than before, than something to just watch the temperature and check on it does sound all you need as they suggested.
