FINALLY, THIS TOOK QUITE A WHILE TO GET OUT BUT IT'S HERE
My trek through Victory Road began as the officials confirmed that I had every badge on the way there. There was only one capture here and it will be the final one, in Victory Road I found a Machop and I didn't kill it this time. Yay. After some Strength "puzzles", I made my to the exit and found a guy that could teach one of my Pokemon Double-Edge. Smudges has Rock Head for his ability so he won't take recoil damage from it, it's like it was meant to be. As you may have noticed, I did a lot of grinding to prepare myself, I could have taken on the Elite Four earlier but that wouldn't be a wise move. The team also went through some moveset upgrades. Fal is the same. Lily now knows Brick Break, Psychic, and Iron Tail which all go neatly with Thunderbolt. Metalbro has Toxic and I replaced Body Slam with Return hoping that it will be more powerful than Body Slam. Otherwise, he still has Rest and Shadow Ball (Ghost moves are physical in Gen 3 fyi). A10 learned Extremespeed while grinding and I taught him Aerial Ace to go alongside Bite and Flamethrower. Smudges had Fly removed as having it with Wing Attack would be redundant and it was replaced with Earthquake. And finally, Ken is the same. The next update will be the final update, if I white out, game over. If I win, hooray. Either way, it all ends next time...
I'm playing FireRed so technically in terms of spirit yes, but in terms of mechanics no. And no, I won't be fighting the legendary Pokemon nor will I be doing any of the post game content. You're playing a Gen 1 game, right?
If so, Bonus Episode: Legendary Encounters.
Aww, you're not? Ok...I'm playing FireRed so technically in terms of spirit yes, but in terms of mechanics no. And no, I won't be fighting the legendary Pokemon nor will I be doing any of the post game content.
