Cinnabar's gym was locked so I went to the one place I haven't checked out yet: the Pokemon Mansion. I found a Koffing, a couple of TMs, and the key to the gym. Speaking of TMs, I spent some money on coins so I could get some prizes from the Game Corner which of course translates to more TMs. I decided to grind for a bit and tackle the gym which meant surfing and Rock Sliding everything until I got to Blaine. He was quite easy, Smudges made quick work of him even with him being affected by two Intimidates. Afterwards, I was greeted by Bill and offered to take me to an island to hang out with him. I'm considering doing this since it means more Pokemon to encounter and thus more experience.
