Well, there's no better way to train than to fight...
My best means of improving generally involve fighting real players than NPCs. Human players will always fight and act completely different from NPCs.

I've said it before though, I haven't been getting many good opportunities to play my Wii U very much at all in the past few months.

I was about to suggest Smash, but I don't think it would help you...
I'll probably just play monster hunter for a while, not actively using my wrist for much in that game.
Meanwhile in osu! I'm tapping keys and moving a mouse around rather quickly.
