He will respond if you talk to him. I asked him how's it going once, and he did reply.
The conversation didn't go any further though because it was late at night for me and I had to go.

Honestly, you would think that newcomers would come in here just for the sake of counting to 400 Bob-ombs (which is the actual purpose of this thread). So chances are most people don't expect this place to be such a social environment thus not engaging in social interaction as much as us.

That pretty much sums it up. Though I suppose it's at least somewhat natural that something with a never ending objective which most players all share in common, that's actually very highly active, would eventually evolve into what it is today.

That said I do still believe almost every newcomer wouldn't expect this place to be an active social environment, at least not to this degree. At most they might expect most of the talk to be about strategies and jokes of beating the mods (which it is at times, though not as often as it used to be)

(Is that really how Nui was formed? I don't know Kill la Kill, unfortunately.)
Pretty much the clothes they wear is an alien life form that is like a parasite but their normal feeding habits was too much for the humans which ended up in killing them so they had to adjust so they wouldn't kill them in the process of feeding on them..

There are three known life fiber infused humans though Nui is the most unique being the only born from the original fiber

I spent all night marathoning Jessica Jones and finally finished it. Like Daredevil, it's really violent but this time it focuses a lot on 'who to trust' and 'who isn't being mind controlled'. Again, David Tennant as Kilgrave, the main antagonist, was so damn creepy but he's probably one of the best live-action Marvel villains yet. Luke Cage was pretty cool in it, looking forward to his own series next year. Needs more Iron Fist tho. Probably not for everyone but I'll still recommend it if you want something to binge, all episodes are out on Netflix anyways.

I was just starting to get into Gravity Falls too, then I hear the news about it ending. That's not stopping me from watching the episodes of course, but still...

92 series ends.

...That's kinda shocking. It's only going to last 2 seasons? Dang...

The show's creator said it was a decision he and the other writers made before season 2's production even began.

He always envisioned it as a story of a summer adventure with a beginning, middle, and ending. At least that means it should go out well.

So GF is ending, and MLP will be ending in about two years. I've noticed that a lot of good things don't usually last very long (like Avatar, Korra, and Over the Garden Wall). That's better than seeing the day when they're just shells of their former selves, I suppose.

One of the speeches I'm writing is about why people should participate in politics.
And then there are good reasons not to take part in politics :dazwa:

Granted there is a confirmed mlp movie coming out in two years..
so pretty much speculation

Can't be said for certain as much sense as it would make.

I know there's only so much that can be done with the main characters, but that gives them more reason to explore other characters.

It still exists with a toyline, too. Granted, I don't want the show to decline in quality with episodes being produced and written solely to help promote said toyline, as that's what Gen 3 of it was essentially. Still, it makes me wonder how long they intend to keep the show and generation going.....

If they start focusing more on the other ponies, it really isn't the same MLP though. If they made G5 something like a sequel to FiM, maybe with a time skip and where the Mane 6 are there, but no longer the focus of the show, that could work. But if it stays as FiM, it has to focus on the Mane 6 the most because, well, they're the main characters.
Things have to end at some point. But as I've said before, the memories made during the time it was there will never go away.

I'd very much like a sequel-type show. Considering the unexpected much larger audience and success of this one I don't think it's actually all that far-fetched either.
