Doesn't sound like brash, just like you said mvg indifference

Its just many love the mother franchise and yearn to play the third game (legally) so hearing that its coming to Japan's vc and not in NA feels like Nintendo is trampling on and trashing on a lot of fans wounds and feelings or at least their view
For what?! Okay, so we didn't get freaking Mother 3. Unless they explicitly said they're doing this to piss off the West, I see no reason to shoot the messenger.
It'd be like calling the waiter an asshole for giving someone their dinner when another hasn't had it yet. Where's the logic?

It gave people hope, MVG.

If they gave us the ability to legally play the first one after over 25 years of wait, then maybe the third one was on the way.

A lot of people also saw Lucas's return in Smash as another clue, since he is the only character in Smash 4 who only appaeared in Japan-only games (excluding Smash)

No no no, shooting the messenger is just sg going overboard. . . again

Its what i said before, from the view of mother fans its an insult that they feel they don't matter when they wait while Japan gets more availability of the game

To be honest it really is mostly over-exaggeration, taking something minor and stretching it as big as possible. Its just how zealous they are

Really? Because all I'm seeing is raindrop catching to form some sort of conspiracy theory.
One again, unless we have direct proof that they're actively withholding Mother 3, I see no reason to crucify Nintendo.

...It's a metaphor. I'm using figurative language.
The way you're acting is that we should criticize Nintendo for something that very well is a footnote at best. I get people want Mother 3 and that's fine. But acting like Nintendo is some evil corporation trying to hide games from us poor peasant isn't sound. They're not out to get us, nor do they hate us with every fabric of their being, it's just a coincidence at best.

...Really? Shoot the messenger? Crucify I can get (though the exaggeration should've been a red light). But shoot the messenger is a metaphor. It's been around for a long time.

I'm not trying to justify anything anyone else has said here, but I'd like to point out that people have criticized and insulted Nintendo (and specific people too, Sakurai being a fine but unfortunate example) in far, far worse manners than this before, and over much smaller matters than this, no less (Hell, it was brought up in this very thread yesterday. People don't get their special character that they want and Sakurai suddenly hates every fan out there, that whole stigma)

Is this kind of reaction really necessary?

132 it does get tiring seeing "Japan only" games.. they could at least see if it would be popular here then decide if it'll be sent over..

Sure, there have been worse; But just we've gotten worse with insults doesn't mean the lesser ones aren't as bad. Especially raving over things like "X got something we didn't".
