Depends on what kind of Twitch chat room we're talking about. Because I've been in very chill chats.
True I suppose. But I've noticed most significant Smash ones go so fast you barely have so much as a single second to read them before it starts flooding upwards with more comments again.

we did that in Smash The Record chat a few weeks ago.... we got to 1000 in like 16 minutes
There exists a possibility we could break the record here if it did move that fast, but the main problem would be keeping track and having to either edit constantly or just move on.

Fun Fact about one of RWBY's most recently-introduced teams (no spoilers, so go ahead):
Team NDGO was never created by Rooster Teeth. It was instead created by some fans who backed one of Rooster Teeth's crowdfunding projects, making them OCs.

The fans themselves not only came over to supervise the way their characters are portrayed, they also voiced their characters!

I guess. Though to be honest I don't watch a lot of Smash streams.
But they are certainly out there. Hell, quite a few streamers I watch have great chats with little spam.

I know a streamer (The first streamer I ever watched actually) who regularly get 1000+ viewers, yet his chat is a hospital. (no cancer)

I wish more stream chats were like that.

I really don't understand why so many people just madly fill it with pointless spam that vanishes from view within a matter of seconds, only to be replaced by even more spam.

Well, let me put it this way, think of their fanbase. For a lot of big name streamers, it's often kids. Now that's not to say adults don't do it either (and every base is different), but a lot of it is in the younger spectrum.

That's pretty cool.

193. Wish I could voice act. I have the voice for it, but not the acting...

Hmm....yeah, that sounds right on the spot.

Wouldn't be the first time I've seen much younger people on the Internet acting like that. It's common in many other large fanbases that I've been in.

Miiverse is another significant example of it.

Items in random online matches usually seem to screw me over harshly rather more often than actually providing more silly fun to the match for me.

I still play For Fun though lol

I know the pain. It's a game I've wanted to play for a long time but cannot.

Gah. At this point I'm probably just going to watch a playthrough of it sooner or later.

Six-toed kittens are so common in Boston and surrounding areas of Massachusetts that experts consider it an established mutation.
