Edit because I is smart:

It all makes now.

Why were the creatures worshiping? Because they weren't worshiping the ritual, they were focusing on the goddess.

Why did the goddess appear in front of Uni? Because she planned to manipulate him and possibly stuck something like a seed in his mind (kinda like Mr. L and Dimentio).

Why is the crater there? (Well I'm still convinced it's magic moonbeams...) But my point still stands.

It could also go back to the earlier days of me getting chewed up and Katt killing Uni. Because she wanted to test the waters before striking (since let's face it they were a tad more feral back then).

I'd say whenever Kon is up to it (or if we can drag Katt into court after the last incident). But for right now I'd recommend keeping Uni under wraps.

I'm a atheist, and katt's an unstable psychopath

Seriously though, while our species is directed influence by these so called "goddesses" we were more independent, only having them in stories, manuscripts and such

Possibly bringing back Uni's case from a long while ago. Because if my babbling is to be believed, then I may have found the connection between then and now.

But since Uni is new to the idea of wolfens, he'd be much easier than you or Katt.

Actually its because sg lives on a whole other plan than anyone else in current existence

He's half human, half wolfen, making his mentally much weaker from his increase simulations from both sides

In other words he was walking on a thin l8ne the moment he turned, the goddess probably saw that and wanted to make use of it

For her purpose though? I have no clue. . .
