I think you all are going off a bit to far about this "toxicity" thing

Yes when people are angry and hateful, they like to spew more hate, but what I've seen i don't think it was all that nasty

Maybe its because i feel more like a mediator to both sides (i dislike both mlp and anime) so im not able to get the full concept of what happened, but all it seemed like to me was both sides getting insulted from each other comments and to defend themselves choose to spite the other. I think it's hardly something to make more notice of now

I just think that the lingering effects of the incident is what you guys are referring as toxicity, not the actual thing itself

But thats just my view

I agree that the argument wasn't that nasty. I think it was more the shock of having an actual argument with insults here. We usually get along pretty nicely here and even hours later this is still on our minds simply because it was surprising and unexpected, I guess. We pretty much have 0 tolerance for intolerance.

To me, it was more the childishness of the argument. I could sum it all up like this:

"Well you're stupid!"

"Well you're stupid, and ugly!"

"Well you're stupid, and fat!"


Oh sure, there have been worse arguments out there (trust me, I know), but that didn't make it good by any means. And it certainly wasn't a healthy one. And especially over something as childish as a Youtube fan video. Which to be honest, the whole "living forever = seeing loved ones dead" has been a common observation for a long time now. There's even a trope about it: http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/WhoWantsToLiveForever

And I think moving forward that one thing people need to take into mind is whether or not this is the kind of arguments that should be acceptable. There's not liking a video, and then there's playing the name game acting like somehow they're the better man.

And i don't even think it was that mvg, it eas just one giving their thought, the other taking offense, and then the other person getting offended, one mishap after another, i don't even think it involved the YouTube video after the triggering happened

But i should probably take a lesson from xiroy and stop beating a dead horse myself to move on

My morning was great; I finally got the chance to escape my busy school schedule to see some high school friends again! :b:

It's amazing to see how little they changed as I became more.....mature-ish :p

Also, two of them are in a relationship together now... ****ING CALLED IT! :laugh:

30 :glare: because of that one issue my computer can't connect to the internet which I need to get an article that failed to be downloaded correctly the first time I saved it onto my flash drive that I need for an essay that's due on Thursday.. :mad:

Mmm... You guys seem chill, so I guess I'll tell you :3

Kumaru is a combination of two words: "Kuma" (Bear) and "Ryu" (Dragon). I wanted to create a name that had some kinda significance or something, so I eventually decided to go with my two favorite animals, mythical and non-mythical.

Also the furry in me believes that If i were to be reincarnated as any animal based on personality, it would be a bear. I mean, think about it~
