Well crap. Someone I care about from elsewhere is feeling really bad right now and they won't let me help, but then again it's partially due to me. Damnit.
At least they'll hopefully be better in a few weeks since they just got antidepressants... not going to be the best myself tonight though.

Long story short,
I received a speedbag (it's a drop-shaped bag that's more or less the size of a baby's head) right beside the eye, breaking my glasses which, upon breaking, stabbed my skin less than an inch from my right eye.

Happened 9 years ago and I still have the scar to prove it

Yeah. A lot of people told me I was very lucky to have both of my eyes the next few days.

But another good thing is that I had the day off from school after that :lol:

I also drowned, got a shard of glass in my forehead, got rocks through my upper lip and had a messed-up childhood. Yet, I'm still writing this post in a mentally stable(-ish) state.

I crushed a bone in my wrist once.

And another time suffered some pretty nasty blunt trauma to my forehead, which left me with a scar, but it's pretty faint today.

Both times were because of something incredibly stupid.

That aside, I've always been interested in space. There's just a lot of amazing things out there, either similar or quite different from the planet we live on. So I've always been intrigued by it.

And, I think the night sky itself is also beautiful. I've even got a complex telescope I use to get closer looks at planets, nebulae and the like at night. Main reason I brought it up is because it's one of my favorite subjects, yet not one I talk about very much...
