Yeah, I watched them, but Villager couldn't even make it into the Top 8. That should be enough evidence that it's beatable. Honestly, all you have to do is practice. Once people understand how to deal with "jank", it no longer is "janky". But almost nobody wants to play with customs so we are stuck in this loop where they say it's broken but they're not willing to actually play with customs and learn how to deal with it.

...Let me rephrase that. Why are they JUST adjusting the custom specials and hardly touching anything else?

Possibly they wanted to make sure the vanilla meta was balanced enough before moving onto customs. Now that the game without customs is relatively balanced in their view, they can start working on the customs.

This is the most reasonable argument against customs. There's not much we can do about them other than 1) play the game, 2) share via the 3DS, or 3) hope for something helpful once the DLC comes to a close.

Pikachu's Thunder Jolt infinite was gone last patch and Charizard's Dragon Rush was nerfed a little a few months ago, so they've be doing this for a while now.


There's nothing wrong with those moves though.

When I played against Metalbro's custom DK Cyclone had too strong of a wind box that pulled me in messing up my punishes. You'd need to practice a lot with that move just to see what works and what doesn't.. jumping and attacking isn't always effective and staying on the ground will most likely pull you into the air and mess up what you were going to do..
this is just from what I've experienced that one time..

You've got more luck than my mom. Her laptop randomly broke down and can't be turned on.

I told her for years to get the data out of the hard drive to get back her stuff, but she constantly threw my opinion in the garbage because, for some reason, they thought it made no sense to listen to a kid for advice.

I said the exact same thing a few weeks ago and she started to think about it.

Been right for 5 ****ing years, but now that I'm 18, my advice suddenly matters!

Lots of parents use fear to teach their young children. As for the others, I would recommend that, instead of focusing on the bad your parents gave you, focus on the good. If you look at the bad all the time you could become unfair to them and fail to appreciate good.
