They're not noticeable, tho.
  • She lost an infinite combo
  • Her air dodge landing lag got 7 frames longer (Although even then, Uair still had less ending lag, so it never mattered)
  • Uncharged Paralyzer, which is basically one of her main combo tools, also got more lag

Besides the second, all those little changes damaged her in a big way, but not enough to throw her out of top tier.

Have you ever gotten to play the base game?

I played 3DS with a friend's game on a few occasions, but I was mostly playing Bowser at the time. (He's still my second main to this day)

Instead of nerfing the top tiers, I'd prefer it if they buffed all the lower tiers.
And in all honesty, this game is already balanced. Since we focus on 1v1s only, it'll give the illusion of being unbalanced.

Not to sound like a donkey, but
  1. Sonic's fsmash got 2 more frames of endlag
  2. Spin dash to spin dash jump does 6% less
  3. Bthrow isn't a reliable kill throw without rage
  4. dair meteor has less kb
  5. utilt 2 has less kb
  6. Usmash kills 12% later
  7. Fsmash has less kb growth
What buffs did we get?
  1. No more cypher grabbing
  2. Homing attack no longer targets luma, pikmin, dhd can etc.
  3. More dair IASA

First of all... Yeah, either way works.

Second of all, I kinda feel like every character should be fit for 1v1 play, and no one should be so broken. I can use the nerf on Diddy Kong as an example, but I think that's way too obvious.
They should also buff the lower-tiered characters to minimize the amount of nerfs needed to balance the game.
That has been happening, but there needs to be more.

Already Meta Knight is up to the point that he's viable again, so we shouldn't worry about him anymore. But what of Samus? Mewtwo? Zelda? And as mentioned before, King Dedede? There's just too many changes to be made.

35 Palu hasn't gotten many Nerfs the only bad thing I know of is that SS cancelled up smash doesn't store the momentum like it did prior..

I disagree simply because it's always been this way. Heavies are better in free for alls because they last longer. Top tiers are bad at everything except 1-on-1. For example, who would you use in Home Run Contest: Ganondorf or Sheik? There are exceptions to this of course (:4jigglypuff:), but Smash is first and foremost a party game so every character is balanced with that in mind.
Though I'd love to see all the lower-tiered characters buffed to the level of top tiers, the overall balance of Smash 4 would then be lopsided in favor of the lower tier characters (more specifically the heavies) across the board.

Yeah, the reason nintendo is so hesitant to buff the heavies and seems to not be able to touch shiek is simply because
a. Heavies are great in ffas and shiek sucks
b. Japan's metagame is different

though a impacts it more.

Yeah, we were talking about that in the Sonic social, I just wish they would take their and our opinions on the metagame equally, but sadly they don't.

In their meta, Shiek isn't as good also.
