84 resolve basically adds half of your speed, str and skill stat when low on health btw. Makes Ike a god. Only reason Galeforce wouldn't realistically beat it is because the unit needs to be good to make good use of it, but with resolve it really doesn't matter, just camp with a high durability weapon and elixers. I.e. Ike clearing out maps with ragnell alone; generals doubling other units and tanking the damage pretty darn well.

Edit: it's at half of your hp, so you could have an ike running on 30 hp, tanking and not getting doubled, not to mention he probably won't get hit anyways and can hit you from a bow's range using Ragnell. And you thought Hector was broken.

it was fun having Ike clear the extra maps by himself lol he was OP in PoR :p

I honestly didn't bother putting resolve on him cause I thought it was way too easy, unless you decided to go on the hardest difficulty for english. In the japanese version, they have the true version that is the hardest, and at that point you pretty much rely on Boyd, Ike and Titania. You have to be lucky to make sure Astrid gets good fast enough and you'll probably want to use one of the laguz. 90
