Actually no lol. Portal doesn't get you very much content for it.

The games you can get the most from with it are Half-Life 2 and it's Episodes (for some textures and NPCs) and Counter-Strike Source (usually just for map textures, some might not work correctly without it mounted)

Not an absolute requirement though. The game still works just fine without these things for the most part.
