Again, I feel like I made myself look an idiot.
I always judge myself by different standards than I judge others, and I expect people to judge me far more harshly than they actually would.

I still don't see what's wrong with positivity.

Well, I'd try and find away to work around that if I were you. I can relate to judging oneself differently, but I've found that some of the more harsh and judgmental people out there are often not really worth anyone's time.

It's really discouraging to think I had ideas that I thought were good and everyone knew were terrible, but everyone, including myself, led me to believe they were decent. What a fool.
