Depends. only one was able to knock out power for a while.. I don't remember the power going out by a storm before that last one last month or so.. Lightning gets close sometimes..

The lightning only briefly affected us this morning, we noticed everything turned off for like, one second or two, all our cable boxes got forced to reboot too. It's the only time lightning has ever affected our power as far as I can remember.
