By claiming that Sunset Shimmer is best human, you have no other choice but to also claim that she is best pony.

Why am I saying that? The reason is very simple, Keyblade. It's because each and every single human in Equestria has an Equestrian equivalent, with only a few differences since Equestria uses magic and is populated by equines instead of technology and humanoids.

I can already predict your next question: "We've never seen the REAL human Sunset. Is there even one?" While it's true that we indeed have yet to see the true human Sunset, she isn't the only one missing, as Cadence, Shining Armor, Discord, Starlight Glimmer, the true Dazzlings and most of the pets are also M.I.A.

Therefore, since every human has an Equestrian counterpart, it is safe to assume that the Crystal Mirror is, in fact, a portal to not another world, but a parallel universe when everything is like our real world, with everypony err.. everybody having the same personalities as their equine equivalent. For example, both Raritys have a passion of fashion and are incredibly generous. So logically, your favorite pony should, in theory, also be your favorite human. If for you, Shimmer is best human, than she is also best pony!

I now rest my case, Your Honor.

Firstly, Mr. Edgeworth, we know that Sunset Shimmer has been living in the human world for a long time. She's adapted to her role in the universe well. She might as well be human by nature, she certainly seems to act that way.

Quick to assume, aren't we? I was not going to ask that question. Furthermore, this logic is quite flawed. We have no guarantee that all beings that hail from Equestria also have a human counterpart. The only ones we've seen that were not ponies are the Diamond Dogs. Without an accurate representation of each species, including griffons, sirens, draconqueis, and the pets are absolutely flawed. We've also seen Gummi in the human world (albeit, he is a stuffed animal, as is Discord, who is seen in the "Perfect Day for Fun" Rainbow Rocks video. Finally, Starlight Glimmer cannot be used as evidence here, as she didn't even exist when the Equestria Girls films were made. Such an obvious mistake. Can we really bank on this man's testimony?

Except the Crystal Mirror is played out to be a portal to an alternate world, as evidenced by the song "Strange New World". If everyone has the same personalities as their Equestrian Counterpart. We also see a glaring error here: not everyone is exactly like their counterpart. For example, Cherilee and Big Mac in Equestria are confirmed to be of similar age thanks to Hearts and Hooves Day. Yet in the Equestria Girls universe, one is a student, the other a teacher. Furthermore, Cheerilee is shown to be quite upset at students in one universe, while not being in the other. Exceptions CAN happen! In the Equestria Girls universe, Rainbow Dash has continued to be an arrogant, Season 1-style version of herself, Twilight Sparkle's variant has as much credibility as her Lesson Zero counterpart, and Pinkie Pie has FAR LESS bubbliness in her personality. Trixie doesn't show a grudge on Twilight. The list of exceptions grows further. Face it, Edgeworth! Your logic is falling apart!

The two universes are also alternate worlds.

Finally, we have no confirmation Sunset Shimmer is from the standard pony universe at all! Considering Celestia's dimension hopping has been seen before in the IDW comics, it's safe to assume that she can enter other worlds and return with artifacts. Who's to say Sunset Shimmer wasn't an abandoned child in one universe and brought to Equestria? Granted, there's no proof of that either, but I've successfully dis-proven that.

I can like Equestria Girls Sunset as my favorite human character, even if she may not have natural been a human, but still like Rarity and Pinkie as best ponies.

She has been spending a lot of time and didn't have trouble adapting back to being a Pony. This suggests that she is indeed from Equestria. The ponies are also quite human in comparison.

There was a representation of a Griffon in the first movie. Also saying that the Discord doll is Discord is flawed as we have seen Discord shaped lamps in Equestria. Are these also Discord? Also true Starlight was introduced in S5 and could only get an appearance in the next movie..

A new world could also refer to another universe as it is a "new world" in the eyes of the individual. True the Mane 6 haven't learned the lessons that their pony counterparts have and therefore would be more like there S1 selves.

We can safely say that she is from the Ponyverse. I don't think Celestia would take a child from their rightful universe. She did try and prevent the Mane 5 (aside from Twilight) from going into the Human world. We can also rule out that The Pony Sunset isn't the Human Sunset as Celestia had said that Twilight would know more about the world she was going to enter than she did suggesting that she has never gone into that universe.
I can like Equestria Girls Sunset as my favorite human character, even if she may not have natural been a human, but still like Rarity and Pinkie as best ponies.

3 isn't the girl with the green hair a Griffin in the Pony world? She looks a lot different compared to the other humans who have Pony counterparts..

I have a pretty old and small violin, it's currently on being displayed in a cabinet in my game room. I've never learned how to play it, though, nor have I brought it out of there for quite a few years.

^The above image is indeed broken. Doesn't show up when I attempt to reply either. (the earlier one in the spoiler box works fine in a quote box though)
