Yeah, it's because I've play around 13 hours as Pyro and not even half that for any other class. Sniper and Demo are the ones I've been messing around with. Soldier is too slow ( I don't want to practice rocket jumping, ) and I'm too offensively oriented to play a good Medic.
Sniper's a hard one to get the hang of. I still need to keep working on that one myself. Demos another fun one, him and Pyro are the ones I have the most hours on. If you've been messing around with that one, I say keep it up. He's a very fun and versatile class.

Well, I don't exactly get much done most weeks, lol.
Are you looking to change that?

Well, I would certainly like to. But there's only so much I can do to move things along faster.
Hm, I'm not sure what else I can say, then.

First, I assume you're referring to your game, right?

Seems you're a bit older than Felix then (same age in number right now though).

Oh, yes. Even if I make little progress whenever I play music, it never bothers me much because I'm always bettering my skills, even if my songs don't progress. The game, is a different story.

I see.

Well, you're only programming and working on it on your own, it seems only natural for progress to be rather slow with only a single person working it. I wouldn't fret too much about it.

Well, I'm already starting to lose some interest in it because it isn't progressing fast enough. Which makes it progress slower.

What you should probably ask yourself at this point in that case, is if you really want to make progress with the game or not. Maybe you need to find or think of something to motivate you to work on it more?

Many things will start out progressing very slowly, and may take some time for you to be able to make it go faster.

It's like this. I have a ton of ideas made already. I feel like I've turned over them in my mind so much that, I've kind of lost interest in them. That's the problem. Say, I had a cool level idea. But I've already thought about it so much, it doesn't seem that exciting to make it anymore.

I've started many projects that ended like this. I've never finished any project before.

Then now seems like a better time than any other to break out of that.

You really like your ideas? Then keep going. There has to be something else that can motivate you. Like, it might not be as exciting to make now that you've thought it over so much, but you haven't made it a reality yet. Imagine actually making it a reality. Wouldn't it be satisfying to bring a concept to life?

Actually, it doesn't really excite me too much. You see, I like coming up with video game ideas. But, the idea of people experiencing what I created? Not too much. It may be selfish, but the problem with making games is that you never get much enjoyment from playing them, imo. So, bringing them to life isn't too exciting.

The way I feel about my game right now is pretty much this exactly ( maybe even game design entirely, I am very much considering dropping it altogether, at least for a time. )

I see. I can understand that.

Go wherever your heart takes you I suppose. In other words, just think it over some more (like you already said, considering dropping it) and decide on what you really want to do.

Of course, if I were to take a break from that, I'd need something else to work on to occupy my time.

Yeah, but I need something else. I couldn't play it all day. Well, maybe I could, but...I really think I'd need something else.
